Shrine Kit – Greek God Poseidon – Sea Chest, Artwork, Prayer Beads – Gold and Blue

I was actually going to sell the beads separately, but I felt it made more sense to sell them all together, which is why the second image doesn’t include the beads. This is for those who have had better experiences with Poseidon than I have. But it is a beautiful kit, and would make for an excellent mini altar set-up for those with little space, or to take with you. Either the chest, or the art, could sit on a desk at work without drawing undue attention to themselves as pagan shrines.

This is a mini devotional shrine kit for the Greek God Poseidon.

The small papier mache treasure chest is painted with gold acrylic paint, and decorative paper has been used to embelish the box. It has a layer of varnish to protect it from damage.

The 4in x 4in canvsas is a paper art piece made with one of the same pieces of decorative paper used for the chest. This piece is titled, ‘The Gates of Poseidon’.

The prayer beads are made with turquoise, sodalite, and black onyx, with a silver dolphin charm. The beads were chosen to represent the colours of a stormy sea, and are beaded together semi-randomly.

In the chest, there is a small ceramic offering dish, a tealight, and two frankincense incense cones. There is enough room to fit the prayer beads inside, as well as any other little trinkets you might want to include.

The entire kit contains:
– one painted and embellished papier mache chest
– one 4in x 4in canvas paper art
– one set of prayer beads
– one ceramic offering dish
– one tealight
– frankincense incense cones

Everything will be packaged securely to prevent damage during shipping.

New: Altar Tiles – Ankh, Awen, Star of Olympus

I’ve finally retaken photos of the last three tiles I made a while ago, and have them up and listed in the shop now. This has taken a bit longer than I had anticipated, because life has been busy, and I’ve been sick, but I’m slowly working through the backlog of stuff I need to write up and list, and this is, at the very least, three I can stop worrying about now.

I will be picking up some more of these 70c tiles from Bunnings at some point, so I can make some more, but for now, this is what I’ve got.

1) Ankh altar tile
This altar tile has a simple black and gold design, with the ankh hand-drawn with a gold paint marker. It measures 9 cm/3.54 inches in diameter, and suits smaller shrines or portable altar kits. It has a dark green felt backing and is varnished to protect it from damage.

The ankh is one of the most important symbols of ancient Egypt, signifying life. It is often shown being held by gods, and by them, given to humans, symbolising the life given by the gods. It is a powerful symbol for any Kemetic shrine.

2) Awen altar tile

This altar tile shows the druidic Awen symbol, which signifies the rays of inspiration that come from the Three Kindreds. It is a simple black and gold design, with the Awen hand-drawn with a gold paint marker.

It measures 9 cm/3.54 inches in diameter, and suits smaller shrines or portable altar kits. It has a yellow felt backing and is varnished to protect it from damage.

3) Star of Olympus altar tile

This altar tile shows the Star of Olympus, a star that represents the twelve great Olympian gods, in black and gold. The Star is hand-drawn with a gold paint marker. This would be a great addition to any small Hellenic shrine or travel kit for those who wish to honour the Olympians.

The tile measures 9 cm/3.54 inches, and suits smaller shrines or portable altar kits. It has a grey felt backing and is varnished to protect it from damage.

New: Portable Shrine Kit – Kemetic Shrine Kit – Offering Table Lid – White and Gold

DSCN0066

I have been experimenting with votive offering tables for a while now, and I think this is the one that is rendered best. Perhaps it is because I drew it with a paint marker, rather than with actual paint. I can see where my strengths lie.

This, and another three boxes, I got at my op shop. $1 each. They’ve scrubbed up nicely, I think. Also, it’s not visible and I forgot to add it to the listing, but the felt backing for the altar tile is black. But anyway. The paint marker is shiny af, and I want to play around with that some more. I like the effect.

This is a small portable shrine kit designed for Kemetic pagans, polytheists, and assorted other Kemetic types. The box itself is made of papier mache, painted white, with gold paint marker along the edge of the lid. The inside is also painted with gold acrylic paint. The box has been varnished to give it a protective, glossy coat to protect it from damage.

The box measures 11cm x 11 cm x 4 cm, or 4.3in x 4.3in x 1.6in.

The lid, drawn on with gold metallic paint marker, is an original design inspired by the ancient offeirng tables, and enables the box itself to be used as a mini altar for ritual, if a small shrine is all you can use.

The design has the hieroglyph for heaven/sky at the top, an ankh in the middle, and the hieroglyph for offering at the bottom. Between them are renderings of pots for offering water or beer, tiny incense burners, the glyph for water, and the two circles represent offering bread. In this way, the offerings represented can be used as votive offerings, perpetually given to the gods if you aren’t in a position to offer physical offerings due to travel or other situations.

It is small and light enough to use as a portable shrine, and there is room to add other items, or to take them out and completely customise what it contains to suit your own needs. It can also be used as a mini shrine on its own, if you do not have much room.

In this kit, you will receive:
– 1 painted box, that fits everything in the kit inside it.
– 1 gold altar tile, depicting an ankh, ma’at feathers, and four stars in black, with a felt back
– 1 small white offering dish
– 4 mini myrrh incense cones
– 2 tealights

Everything will be packaged securely to prevent damage during shipping.

New: Tiny Portable Shrine Boxes – Black with Gold Pentagram Design

tiny shrine boxes

I’ve listed these two together, because they are, in essence, identical. They are tiny shrine boxes, with a tealight, and a single frankincense incense cone. These boxes legit came from my op shop and were, like, 40c each. I love working at an op shop. Except when it is 40C/104F, then I do not, because our air-con is terrible. But most of the time, I love it. :D?

Anyway, buy my shrine boxes they are tops.

(…Not literally, obvs. But you knew that, right? >_>)

This listing is for a single tiny shrine box, painted black, with a gold pentagram hand-drawn on the lid with gold metallic paint marker. The box has been varnished to give it a protective, glossy coat to protect it from damage.

There are two box shrines available.

They measure 6cm x 6cm x 3.25cm, or 2.3in x 2.3in by 1.2in. They are small enough to fit in your hand, and contain a tealight, and a single frankincense incense cone. Frankincense is a good all-purpose incense for many gods, as well as for spiritual and magical workings.

No incense burner is included, but there is enough room to fit a small metal one inside. It could also be used to hold any other small trinkets or spiritual items, or used for a magical spell. It would also work as a small altar table in a portable shrine kit, or to hold items on your altar or shrine.

Everything will be packaged securely to prevent damage during shipping.

If you are interested in purchasing one of these boxes, please see the listing here.
