My Gods

Last updated: May 6, 2014

I have neglected this particular part of the website for far too long, I think. Part of it was the mess that was the past few years with regards to my path, and how it kept changing. There are sections of the site I need to rewrite or overhaul, because they’re no longer relevant, and I don’t want my practices to be misrepresented. Even the God Clan concept isn’t one that resonates with me anymore, so I’m putting that to bed, and going for a more straightforward section on all the gods that I currently work with.

I’m polytheistic by practice, though I’m not bound to a single culture or pantheon. I’m also not a reconstructionist; though I do draw from that methodology from time to time, it isn’t the basis for how I form my practice. I’m experiential and I use what works, even if it’s a modern invention. But that’s what works for me, and what the gods are happy with, so I can’t really complain too much.

Included in this section are:

  • Sobek
  • Heru-sa-Aset
  • Wesir and Ra
  • Hekate
  • Artemis
  • Woden
  • Isis/Aset
  • Household Gods
    • Ianus
    • Hestia
    • Bast-Mut
    • Hermes-Mercurius
    • Hekate
  • Other Miscellaneous Gods
    • Mary
    • Quan Yin
    • Ganesha and Saraswati
    • Ha-Shem and Allah
    • Djehuty
    • Yinepu and Wepwawet
    • Apollon and the Mousai Titanides

There may be others as I work through them, and some entries might not be very long at the moment, but at least they’d be there. I’m more interested, with this section, in outlining our relationships, rather than writing out historical treatises you can find on Wikipedia, so. There’s your UPG warning for anyone who cares.
